Ms Smith has been involved in football administration since the late 1980s, managing her Ministry’s (Local Government and Works) Team to success in the Ja. Civil Service Competition. She joined the Team of the then Half-Way Tree League in 1997, and was fist elected to serve in the capacity of General Secretary of the BHFSL in 1998. She has also served as the Secretary of Santos Football Club for 1999-2001. On the professional side, Ms Smith has worked in the Civil Service for two decades now, and is currently the Senior Officer responsible for Performance Monitoring in the Ministry of Transport and Works. She is the holder of a B.A.(Linguistics) from the UWI, Mona and an MBA from Florida International University, Miami, Florida.
